We are the Webmasters – Jim and Virginia Brookins-Brown

Jim: I am retired from the United States Air Force where I spent 21 exciting and enjoyable years. I am a
Trained Personal Trainer. I’ve always been interested in sports as a player and as a fan. Years ago I had problems with maintaining a healthy weight and went through periods of ups and downs.

During the period of ups and downs with my weight, I enrolled in a Fitness and Nutrition Training Course. The knowledge gained from the Fitness an Nutrition Course helped me to get my weight under control forever. I
am excited about passing on my knowledge in this area in order to help those suffering as I did.

Virginia: I have had a struggle with weight all of my life. I have been up and down and up and down over the years. When I met my husband Jim 8 years ago I was spending a great deal of time with a trainer and I was at
a reasonable weight and working out 5 or 6 days
each week.

As time went on through dating and into our marriage 4 years ago, I became comfortable.
I did not realize how comfortable and lax until I was looking at our Hawaiian vacation photos and saw a woman
I didn’t recognize. I was horrified and embarrassed.

My husband has such a great health and works out an ethic that I have tried to follow his example. As a result, I
have lost 40 pounds and feel wonderful. I have kept those pounds off for over a year now. I have a few pounds to go, but I am confident that I will get them off and will be able to maintain.

The secret is as our website shows. Change of lifestyle, mindset, eat correctly and exercise. I have to tell you
I have always hated exercise. The only thing I really enjoyed was swimming so I swam miles and miles and things went very well until I hit a plateau – my body was so used to swimming that it no longer responded to weight loss.

I was lucky my gym started a Zumba dance class. I tried it and I have grown to love it. I have never enjoyed sweating, but Zumba makes you sweat! It is the exercise change that I needed. There is also a water Zumba
the class that I take along with the on-land version.

And last but not least, I have added supplements to my diet. These changes were never easy, but so fulfilling and a boost to my self-esteem. I will struggle, but I will maintain this new lifestyle!
